blue_on_white_globeIf you require any vaccinations for foreign travel, you need to complete the online Travel Questionnaire (* see link below).

It is important to complete the travel questionnaire as early as possible - at least 8 weeks before you travel.  A member of the Reception team will telephone you to book an appointment should one be available within a suitable timeframe.

You will also need a second appointment which needs to be at least 2 weeks before you travel, to allow the vaccines to work (this appointment can be made once you have seen the Practice Nurse for an initial consultation.  The Practice Nurse will need to know which countries (and areas within countries) you are visiting, to determine what vaccinations are required. Please look at the NHS travel website before you come.

Please note that before completing your travel questionnaire please check the following website http://www.fitfortravel.nhs.uk/home.aspx

These vaccines generally have to be ordered on a private prescription and there is a charge, over and above the normal prescription charge.  This is because travel vaccination is not included in the services provided by the NHS. Please bring a means of payment with you. We accept cash, cheques and payment by debit or credit card.

Yellow Fever Vaccination  - We are no longer a designated Yellow Fever Centre and are unable to offer and give this vaccine. If you think you may need this vaccination for your trip, details of local designated centres are available on the following website: https://travelhealthpro.org.uk/  You may also be able to obtain vaccination from a private travel clinic.
